Established in 1998 and based in Liverpool, Grantley Lowe, is a professional practice that provides Building Surveying support to a wide variety of businesses and clients across the United Kingdom.

Meet the Executive Team

Rupert Lowe

Director

Rupert Lowe

Rupert G. Lowe founded the business in 1998 and has been a Chartered Building Surveyor with the RICS for over 34 years. Rupert has a degree in Town and Country Planning from Nottingham Trent University and Building Surveying qualifications with the College of Estate Management at the University of Reading.

Before founding the company, he worked in a variety of Building Surveyor roles across London and Liverpool. Throughout his career Rupert has worked with a variety of organisations from the public and private sector. He covers all Building Surveying services but primarily specialises in Dilapidations, Building Defects, Project Management and Party Wall Awards.

Outside of work, Rupert enjoys skiing, travelling and drinking the odd pint in his favourite local pub ‘The Plasterers Arms’ in Hoylake. Interestingly, he has recently taken up painting as a vocation - we look forward to seeing his first exhibition at Tate Liverpool!

Will Jones

Director

Will Jones

Will has been with Grantley Lowe Limited since 2019. Before becoming a Building Surveyor, he worked in a variety of new business, account management and marketing roles. He has a MSc Distinction (1:1) in Commercial Building Surveying from Liverpool John Moores University and wrote his dissertation on the drivers and barriers towards ‘Net-Zero Buildings’. Will is currently trying to get Chartered via the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) with the RICS. At Grantley Lowe, Will works with a variety of private sector businesses and specialises in Planning, Project Management, Architectural Design, Contract Administration and Building Defects.

Outside of the office, Will enjoys going the gym, doing triathlons and cooking. He has just welcomed his newborn daughter into the world and is perfecting the art of changing a nappy!

Julie Clarke

Office Administrator
Julie joined the practice as Office Administrator in 2016. As a former Estate Agent her existing knowledge of the property world helped make her a great addition to the team. Julie mainly handles the day-to-day report writing and company accounts. Along with world record typing speeds and an eye for detail, Julie enjoys creating sophisticated excel spreadsheets and documents which help keep the practice ticking over. In her spare time, Julie enjoys photography and regularly has her creative photographs published on the local TV weather reports, a lot of which have been captured when she and her partner are out and about in their trusty campervan, accompanied by their very lively Yorkshire Terrier.
